A little masterpiece of the Liberty style, with most of its original panelling in carved tropical walnut with floral motifs, monogram and clock, marble and wrought-iron tables and period fittings. Even the sign, now restored, is original. A centre of city life, it was the first unofficial headquarters of the Club Alpino Italiano in Mondovì and it was here that the city’s Rakikò bitters were first created. Initially named after its founder as the “Confetteria, Liquoreria Comino”, as was then the custom, it later took the name of the family which has now been running it for two generations. Exquisite traditional sweets include sorghum pastries and rum Monregalesi.
