Fiaschetteria Italiana Cafè

Piazza del Popolo, 6, 53024 Montalcino, Siena, Italia

Caffè Fiaschetteria Italiana

Dal 1888

Set up by Ferruccio Biondi Santi, the “inventor” of Brunello, and affectionately nicknamed “Florian di Montalcino”, for over a century it has been where the world of wine and culture come together, with local producers and cognoscenti from the world over. An exquisite example of pure Liberty, with counter and display cabinets, sofas in red velvet, mirrors and yellow marble tables, just as it was in the late nineteenth century. Illustrious guests include such international figures as the Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien as well as Prince Charles of England.
