Trattoria detta del Bruxaboschi

Dal 1862

A hotel-museum, with a wealth of art, including the sixteenth-century entrance ceiling painted by Bernardino Poccetti, the large Golden Rain painted by Gaetano Spinelli in 1929, and the model of the Rape of the Sabines sculpture by Giambologna now in Piazza della Signoria. The fourteenth-century palazzo was the home and studio of the neo-classical sculptor Giovanni Dupre, whose sculptures and drawings are on display, and who was the ancestor of today’s owners. Furnished with their private collection of antiques, it surrounds an Italian garden with outbuildings. Adored by all the actors on tour at the Teatro La Pergola next door. Three generations.
