The café that made the history of Oneglia, in the same family for three generations. This was a café for gentlemen, where only graduates were admitted. The radio and the first public telephone appeared here. In 1908, Mussolini was slapped in the face by the landlady after he made an impudent compliment. In 1946 Coppi left the Milan-Sanremo with a 14-minute advantage, popped in for a cup of coffee, went back to his bicycle and won the race. Calvino, President Pertini and composer Berio were all at home here. In 2003 it moved a short distance, with all its original windows and decor in the Umberto style.
