Porto di Savona Old Restaurant

Piazza Vittorio Veneto, 2, Torino, 10123 TO, Italia

Antico ristorante Porto di Savona

Dal 1863

In the nineteenth century, stagecoaches would leave from just
outside this trattoria, with a daily service to Liguria, and to the
port of Savona in particular, along a trading route that was of
great importance for Turin. Worthy of a place in Gerolamo
Marzorati’s Guida di Torino in 1864, its halls and furnishings
have maintained their original style, with delicate touches of the
Liberty style, as in the panelling on the stairs. A meeting place for
the world of culture and entertainment, with Luis Sepulveda,
Nanni Moretti, and Raoul Bova, for years the writer Mario Soldati
enjoyed its superb Piedmontese cuisine.
