Despite the 27 bombing raids that devastated Recco during the
Second World War, it still contains the original ancient pink
building and the little room that was once the entrance to the
trattoria. It is a shrine to cheese focaccia and ancient Ligurian
recipes. The countless photos of illustrious guests include those of
Elettra Marconi, former Italian president Luigi Einaudi, Tara
Gandhi, Bartali and Coppi, Tognazzi and Vianello, Gassman,
Manfredi, Wanda Osiris, Dizzy Gillespie, and Luigi Tenco. The
singer-songwriters Fossati and Darling gave thanks for its
