A majestic Liberty-style façade overlooking the sea, with a
wonderful park and the first sea-water swimming pool, designed
by the Architect Gio Ponti. Founded by Lorenzo Bertolini, creator of the
Royal in Courmayeur, it welcomed “Sissi”, Empress of Austria, King
Farouk, Hassan II of Morocco, Rania of Jordan, Mascagni, Giordano,
von Thiessen and Sabin. Rebuilt after the war and completed with
the splendid “Fiori di Murano” Restaurant in 1946, it is a second home
